Strict health measures
The Eiffel Tower's priority is the health of their visitors and their staff. Some measures and precautions have been taken to protect everyone, such as:
- The mandatory wearing of a face mask for all visitors (from 11 years old)
- Limited number of visitors on the esplanade, on each floor and in the lifts
- Significant signage and ground markings to implement physical distancing (1.5 meter)
- Daily cleaning and disinfection of public spaces at the Tower.

QUESTION: How do I get my ticket?
Tickets are emailed to the email address you provided at checkout. During normal business hours you will typically receive your ticket within the hour. Please allow up to 24 hours if your order is made after business hours.
Your ticket must be printed on a sheet of A4 paper, blank on both sides using an inkjet or laser printer. We suggest you verify the quality of the printer by checking that the information on the ticket and the barcodes is legible. You can also present your ticket on your mobile phone providing the bar code is legible (please note that some mobile phones do not support this function).
Tickets which are partially printed, dirty damaged or illegible will not be accepted and will be considered to be void. Therefore if the quality of the printout is poor we recommend that you reprint your ticket.

QUESTION: Can I change the date and/or time of my ticket? Are tickets Refundable?
The purchase of a ticket is subject to booking a date and time for the visit and these parameters cannot be changed once your purchase has been confirmed. When making a purchase you are presented with a summary of your basket before the purchase is validated. A confirmation email is then sent to you as soon as your payment is registered, confirming the information you have validated.

Is there a left luggage office?
There is no left luggage office at the Eiffel Tower. You are reminded that in accordance with our rules, you cannot bring the following objects onto the Eiffel Tower:
- weapons and ammunition,
- explosive, inflammable or unstable substances,
- knives which may endanger the safety of the public and the personnel,
- tools (i.e. cutters, screwdrivers, pliers, etc),
- any excessively heavy bulky or foul-smelling objects,
- oversized packets or baggage (at the discretion of the members of staff controlling visitors at the entrance to the Tower),
- any mountaineering or jumping equipment (in particular bungee jumping or parachutes) as well as any propaganda material of any kind,
- non-foldaway pushchairs,
- animals, except animals accompanying disabled people,
- glass bottles and drinking glasses, cans of drink,
- excessive quantity of drink or food (assessed by the members of staff at the entrance).
A gauge is supplied to visitors at the four corners of the parvis and at the security control in front of the Tower. The Eiffel tower does not have a left luggage room or cloakroom. Any object which is not accepted onto the Tower and put in a dustbin will be considered to have been lost.

Safety instructions
The Eiffel Tower’s status as a historic monument, its layout, and the high visitor numbers mean that special public safety measures must be taken. All public spaces may be closed if required, and bag and parcel checks put in place. Large items of luggage and pets (except guide dogs for the blind) are not allowed within the Tower. There is no left luggage facility.
